Located in Hampton, Virginia, our female-owned organization offers beautiful 4-bedroom, single-family homes that are licensed by the State of Virginia and follow the medical standards of the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS). These homes provide a safe and family-like environment where individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities can thrive. One of the key aspects of our housing services is the 24-hour staffing by trained personnel. Our staff members are knowledgeable in areas such as Human Rights, TOVA, medication management, ID Waiver, First Aid & CPR. We believe in providing comprehensive support to our residents, ensuring that they receive the assistance they need to live fulfilling lives. In addition to our housing services, we also offer in-home support services. These services are designed to assist individuals with intellectual disabilities or developmental disabilities who are living independently or with family in other community settings. Our skilled staff provides support in various areas, including personal hygiene, domestic skills, social skills, medication administration, daily activities, money management, dietary needs, safety, and transportation. We understand that each individual has unique needs, and our support services are tailored to meet those needs. Furthermore, we provide outpatient therapy services with licensed therapists who specialize in various areas of mental health. Our therapists are available to support clients in managing their mental health symptoms and offer a range of therapeutic approaches. Whether it's ADHD, coping skills, trauma, or family conflict, our therapists are equipped to provide the necessary support. We also offer free 15-minute consultations to new clients, allowing them to explore our services and find the right fit for their needs. At Blessings Abundantly Given, we are committed to creating a home for independence. We accept various forms of payment, including insurance from major providers, and offer a sliding scale fee for eligible individuals.
